FL studio.
Has anyone used FL (Fruity Loops) here?
I tried my hand at it once, but it failed. Also, £500 for a music making programme- sheesh.

Re: FL studio.
I thought about using it. I'm a musician, y'know... and I just thought maybe I could do a few cool things with it.... but for the price, I never thought about it seriously.
Besides, I'm the kinda guy who plays Punk Rock with an Accordion (which I actually have done before).... I just don't think FL studio could let me do stupid stuff like that, right?

Re: FL studio.
Believe me, it can do stupid stuff. But again, with me price is the issue. For me to get the "basic" works it would be £289. Well out of my budget.
Do you have any mixers, decks, turntables?

Re: FL studio.
No, but I have a little recording studio that has Guitars,Basses,Drums,Accordions,Microphones,Trumpets,Keyboards and of course, the Recording Hardware itself.
(All of the above is worth roughly $4000.00)
The Recording Hardware has a mixer built in to it and a little CD drive so you can burn disks right on to it. Other than that, that's all the equipment I got....

Hmm, I'm still getting to grip with all the new buttons and the way it is layed out. I am used to urb. Also like the scroller ato of the page?
Re: FL studio.
Yes. It's a nice touch. Now that I think about it, you should use that to display Forum news. You know how like Bersimon is SUPPOSED to do it every 2 weeks? (shame on you Bersimon for not doing your job on time) But you understand what I mean right?
Anyway, I just thought that would be cool. You think about it.

Re: FL studio.
That would be cool... BTW I am going to make a section for the mods to talk in, you know about forum rules, cases (bannings) etc.
Re: FL studio.
Alright man, thanks.
I appreciate what you've done to the "Rock" Forum, adding subcategories and all...

Re: FL studio.
I have a recommendation. Have any of you guys heard of a piece of software from Apple called "Garageband". I've heard it's really good, and plan to purchase it myself when I have enough to buy a laptop

Re: FL studio.
It's OK. But the thing is it' so hard to use, you have to have a musical background...
Re: FL studio.
Yeah. I don't do techno though. I write songs. Lyrics only at the moment, but hoping to mix vocals in with Garageband audio to create music
